For over a decade, Davis-Hawn has been cutting raw timbers and beams (as large as 12"x24") into beautifully crafted brackets, corbels and rafter tails for timbered cornices, porches, pergolas and arbors/trellises. Utilizing two 36" bandsaws, a Falberg portable timber bandsaw (with 18" cutting capacity for end details on long timbers", beam saws, spindle sanders and other sanding equipment, our craftsman can meet your projects' specifications with finely crafted detail. In addition, we have over 130 bracket templates in our millshop. Bring us your desired dimensions for your pergula and we can prepare the cut timbers for you to take home. Please email email@example.com for more information. We offer S4S (Smoother 4 sides) or rough texture, sanded profiles, hand-hewn and distressed looks, and air-dried "green" or kiln-dried (KD) in the following species: **Western Red Cedar * Douglas Fir * Cypress * Pine * Oak** Note: KD is preferred for trusses, delicate brackets or when the typical checking & splitting that naturally occurs with green timbers must be minimized. Antique salvaged beams and timbers are also available by special order. We keep a limited number of shorter antique beams in stock.
